美国马里兰大学医学院结合医学研究中心暑期课程

本课程由马里兰大学医学院结合医学研究中心开设。该研究中心是美国第一个在医学院建立的结合医学研究中心，它除了承担科研工作之外，还为在校医学院学生、住院医师和研究人员讲授替代医学的相关课程

项目时间：2013年8月5日-16日（2周，42学时， 3个学分）

项目性质：暑期课程

项目学习内容：

有关多种替代医学的介绍，比如ayurveda, chiropractic, mind-body medicine, positive psychology, nutritional supplements, energy medicine 等等.  该课程的授课老师是为本校医学院的学生讲授替代医学的老师。同时还邀请 Georgetown University的教授来讲授实验设计、生物统计学在中医药的运用课程。

学习证书：学习结束后由美国马里兰大学医学院结合医学研究中心颁发学习证明，本科生可作为我校选修课学分

参加学生：我校研究生和本科高年级学生

英语要求：有较高的英语听说读写交流能力

项目费用：

学费：3472美元，（作为第一期课程，对方将优惠学费20%）

住宿费：约600美元，餐费自理

往返机票：16000元

签证费：约1000元

保险费：约200-300元

        之后可联系当地旅行社组织到周边城市旅游，华盛顿、纽约等城市。

Course Description:

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, in conjunction with Georgetown University Medical School, presents a unique and exciting elective in complementary and integrative medicine.  Students will have the opportunity to learn about this rapidly growing field from expert physicians, scientists and practitioners at two well-known universities on the East Coast of the United States.  The 3-credit curriculum will include didactic and experiential sessions covering a wide range of complementary medicine topics, including ayurveda, chiropractic, mind-body medicine, positive psychology, nutritional supplements, energy medicine and psychoneuroimmunology.  In addition, Georgetown University faculty will teach sessions on research study design and biostatistics.  You will have the opportunity to meet and share experiences with U.S. medical students, network with University of Maryland and Georgetown University faculty and make connections with experts in the growing field of complementary and integrative medicine.  You will be close to interesting sites such as the White House, United States Capitol, Smithsonian Museums, and the National Aquarium.
